One for the quote wall

I wish we had a quote wall, because Krystle's response to my last post made me crack up: ". Allana, I have no doubt that there is a perfect guy for you out there....don't become catholic just yet." haha, I don't know why that made me laugh so much, but it was blog-worthy.

What's also blog-worthy is that old habits really do die hard: I have a 15 page paper due tomorrow....and I haven't started! Oops. : )

Hey pretty. I just read your last post--I know it doesn't make it easier really, when someone says "You'll find someone great." But think about it--have you met someone that you REALLY want to marry right now? I would bet not. You know why? Because you don't need "someone great." You need THE ONE FOR YOU. And you don't find him, Heavenly Father finds that one for you.

Chin up, pretty girl. You don't know what he's doing right now, but you can bet you'll find out sometime why RIGHT NOW was not the right time. Think, if I'd rushed off to date the wrong guys, I could have totally missed Steve. All the time I was bemoaning being single, he was off on a mission. Just think about that.

Love you lots! Go to the temple & pray about it, k? If its time, ASK FOR IT! <3 xoxo

I agree with Jamie. And I know that if is "easy for us to say" when we have both already found our Steves. Of course it's easier to say it. However, I can tell you this. He's worth the wait, he's worth every bad date you ever went on, he's worth every weekend night you spent alone, he's worth every time you cried over a boy. And looking back, it's SO OBVIOUS why every other boy I dated was the wrong one, or the wrong time or something. And Jamie's right, we aren't looking for someone who fits in a "perfect" mold. Steve's nothing I expected, and far from perfect, but with me...he's perfect.
