This last weekend, I had the honor of attending Jenna and Steve's wedding. It was my first sealing, so that made it a very special event... coupled with the fact that I got to see some old San Diego friends! Here is a picture highlight of the event (look at me trying to be more interesting and high-tech in my blog posts!)
First, the night before, there was a dinner at El Torito. Basically everyone got lost, but it was nice seeing people. Then, it was a fantastic night of girlyness, and sleep. Friday, the bride got up early to get ready for the big day. Krystle did the make up, her sister Amanda did the hair. The rest of us basically oohed and aawed, or tried not to get in the way. I was annoying with the camera. For example:

Look at how intensely Krystle is getting the bride ready. It's a great action shot.

Then, it was onto the Newport Beach Temple... the sealing was nice and I was so happy I got to go. Then, we waited patiently for the couple to come and greet us. Jenna of course looked beautiful. Many pictures were taking outside of the temple, most of which I won't post on here since I think my readers (you know, like all 1.36 of them) are pretty much on facebook. (except for, ironically, the bride... but her husband is so she can see them through that route). Next was the long trek up to the Simi Valley. I just barely caught the traffic. I was left in the middle of the journey really needing to pee. Luckily, my house was en route to the reception, so I just did my business there.
Here are some other picture highlights:

The venue for the reception. It kinda looks Jane Austen-y for some reason.

Kissy picture!

For some reason, I really like this picture!

This is another fave: Krystle is just rocking out, and Jamie looks like she's saying, "I don't know this woman..." (even though just seconds earlier, she was rocking, too)

The most adorable, expecting parents ever!
So, there is my first attempt at picture blogness. :)
