Day 10: Cinque Terre to Venice

En route to Venice, we stopped at Lake Garda and Verona. At this point, people were getting really tired, so we weren't too thrilled with two more short stops. However, they were very nice places, and I'm glad we did stop. There, I had a very delicious (although very rich) lunch and some fabulous gelato. Lake Garda was beautiful:




Verona was alright. The big shtick was that this is where Shakespeare got his inspiration for Romeo and Juliet, and "Juliet's Balcony" was there. On the way to the balcony, there's this little hallway where you're supposed to write down your name with your lover's, and then you'll be together forever. There were also expensive, high-fashion shops.
