Day 13: Rome to San Fransisco

Early morning wakeup to get to the airport on time. A group of us called in a shuttle for a 7am pickup. 6:30, I get a call saying that the shuttle is here. As we all come trickling out, the shuttle driver is walking around impatiently because we are "late" (if late means leaving 15 minutes earlier than scheduled). I felt like my life was in danger on the way to the airport. He was crazy! Fortunately, we got their in one piece. The airport was relatively uneventful. I ran into some girls from my tour and had lunch with them, which was nice because I hadn't really hung out with them as much on the tour, but they're nice. On both flights, I was sitting next to, in front of, or behind, a crying or energetic baby! I watched 4 movies on one leg of the journey home: National Treasure 2, 10,000BC (don't ask, it's called desperation), P.S. I Love You (way too unbelievable), and Hercules. On the other leg of the flight, I watched Nim's Island. I was sick of watching movies by the time I got home. I came home to see some fireworks from the airplane. On the drive home, I saw finales of several fireworks shows, which was really cool. And that was the end of my exciting trip!
