I need to take a moment...

So, normally when I blog or journal, I complain. Or I psychoanalyze something. Or something like that. Right now, I simply want to acknowledge some good things that have happened in my life or my friend's lives:
  • An old roommate just got home from her mission and has started law school.
  • I finally started a full time job, making more money than I thought I would... my worst problem is picking health insurance from my many good choices.
  • An old roommate found a dream job after being let down several times by other interviews.
  • Another friend also found a job after getting no interviews.
  • A friend took a bold move and moved from home to OC without a job, and within a couple weeks has some very promising leads.
  • A friend woke up a student and went to bed a real person with a job, benefits, and furniture.
  • A friend finally found a quality guy who treats her nicely and makes her happy.
  • I got my first choice in office placement - along with many of my closest friends from my grad program!
  • An old honorary roommate just had a DARLING baby!
  • It's lovely weather outside.
  • My new roommate has hardly moved in and is already being snagged by a good guy.
  • Both of my old visiting teachees are engaged to awesome men (that's old news, but while we're at it...).
  • Jesus loves you.
So, I know this may seem cheesy. But honestly. It's SCARY how much good things are going on right now for me and my friends. To the point where the pessimistic side of me is thinking to myself: "Is something going to start hitting the fan right now, because this all seems too good to be true?" However, I think I am just going to keep a positive attitude about this. It's refreshing to see things working out for yourself and for your friends... especially in massive doses!
