Who puts that they are a "street pharmacist" in their profile? Maybe I am just in the ghetto too much, but that just screams "DRUG DEALER" to me... does it to anyone else?
And who puts that they are "boring, lame, empty, disenfranchised," etc. etc. etc. ad naseum and then punctuates a long stream of negative adjectives with "Yes, I am damaged goods" in their profile? I mean, I appreciate the honesty and it saved me some time from even thinking about contacting him but really?
And who signs up for a dating site, and then tells you in their second email that they are "legally separated but not yet divorced, but I'm just here to make friends?" (yeah right as if I by that) And then says that they are telling me this because they believe in honesty, so when I respond with honesty ("Well, that's not a choice I would make if I were going through a divorce, I might wait until it was finalized."), they respond by saying that they thought about it and decided to delete their profile, only to still have their profile up weeks later (yes, I checked)?
And is it sad that in spite of all of this, online dating contributed to one third of my dates in the year 2010...?
