New Years Resolutions

So the last time I published a list was two years ago.  I think I accomplished like 20% of my resolutions?  Haha, but here is my attempt to try and conform to the social norms of setting goals with the new year:

1.  Pay down my student loans so the balance is 4 digits
2.  Get back on a scripture reading routine
3.  Get back on a temple-going routine (beyond my volunteering there)
4.  Go to the gym occasionally (I'm not going to set overly lofty goals here...)
5.  Cook more - learn recipes (maybe even healthy ones?), use more of my fun kitchen stuff
6.  Do more artwork - I used to be good!  I don't want to bury it and lose it.
7.  File my paperwork so I can go from CSW II to CSW III
8.  Read more books!  Start hacking away at that list of "Books I Should Read"

Hopefully I didn't set my goals too high so I will actually get maybe half of them done?

Okay, so two thoughts to help you get these done.

1. Cooking Light magazine is AWESOME for yummy new dishes, and obviously they are also healthy. They even do healthier versions of delicious fattening foods. They make the only cookbooks we've ever actually used, but most of their recipes are on their website (free). www.CookingLight.com

2. To hack away at your to-read list, get audiobooks from the library and listen to them in the car or whenever. A lot of libraries let you download them onto your iPod or computer for free, too (just for a rental period, but still cool). I've been doing that because I haven't had free hands to read lately, but I can listen while I do whatever. Steve listens while he works out (so you could kill two birds with one stone, if you're tackling the gym at the same time).

Those are good ideas. Thanks Jamie!
