Saturday morning, I arrived in San Jose, Costa Rica. Even with the aid of a sleeping pill, I could not for the life of me sleep on the airplane. I initially had my brief culture shock of "what the heck am I doing?" However, that subsided a little bit when I noticed how similar San Jose was to certain parts of Los Angeles. Literally when I was walking around San Jose, I felt like I was in the Fashion District in Los Angeles just how the markets were. The fact that everyone spoke Spanish? Also not too different. Anyway, since for the most part I just chilled around, took a nap, and later ate at a restaurant. To the right is a picture of the hotel where I took my nap and spent my first night. :)
