The last day I mainly just spend shopping and chillaxing. Here are some afterthoughts on Costa Rica:
I want to come back! But next time I would go to the Pacific side of the country - see Corcovado, Monte Verde, and Manuel San Antonio. I would get myself in better shape so I can go on some good hikes in some of the best places. And of course for this I would hire a guide.
I would only spend enough time in San Jose to arrive by plane and get to my next destination. Beyond spending a couple hours walking around the shopping center (which is a lot like places you'd see in Los Angeles), there isn't much there.

Scenery: Both!

4. Scotland/Ireland
5. Tanzania/Kenya - basically an African Safari
