England: Day 6

So the main attraction in York is the York Minster Abbey.  We actually got to take pictures of the inside!  This is an old Viking town so a lot of it is still a little Medieval.  Unfortunately we weren't able to see as much of it as I would have liked - I think if one can find the time it would be easier to fit in everything there is to do if you stayed 2 nights.  I definitely would go back!

Random pretty dome.

Ali convinced me to walk up 80 kazillion small, narrow steps.  This was the halfway point.

These were the steps - hence why they encouraged people not to go if they were claustrophobic.

View from the very top!

yes, we are above those giant steeple things

cool looking estate.

a random man was nice enough to take our picture to prove that we survived!

The Shambles - a cute little shopping district.

Huge!

The city walls
After enjoying York for some time, we went back to London.  We decided we had to take our obligatory pictures at Abbey Road.

Blurry but the best picture my camera would take.  Hopefully I can post more when Ali gets back.

Just in case there was any doubt as to where we were.
